The Photo Shootout is a weekend long photography festival and competition designed to bring the photography community together for a weekend of fun and adventure, celebrating our art and passion.
The inaugural event is being held on the Sunshine Coast from the 16th to the 18th of September 2016, hosted at Lake Kawana Community Centre, and supported by Sunshine Coast Council, Visit Sunshine Coast and Teds Camera’s.
Our Major Prize Sponsors, TAFE Queensland East Coast and One Of A Kind Photography are giving the photographer with the highest over all scores in the competition the chance of a lifetime, with a 12 day photographic tour of Patagonia, travelling through and photographing some of the most spectacular regions in Chile and Argentina in South America!

Speedlights #101 is a 5 hour introductory workshop on how to use an external small flash (a.k.a Speedlights & Speedlites). It starts at the start, explaining the theory of lighting, and goes on to the practical application of small flash, both ON and OFF your camera.
